Key takeways

44% of competences will need to be renewed by 2027.

Investing in training strengthens retention and performance.

Skills such as leadership and communication are just as much a priority as technical ones.

In a constantly changing labour market characterised by digitalisation and automation, continuously developing employees’ skills has become a strategic priority for companies. This need is evident in recent studies, such as a study carried out by the World Economic Forum in 2023, which found that 6 out of 10 workers will need training before 2027, with 44 per cent of workers’ current skills needing to be updated, with the areas of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence prioritised in the Information Technology sector.

This warning has been accompanied by an increase in investment by companies to retrain their workers in technical and analytical skills.

However, it’s not just the development of technical skills that has been highlighted as relevant. According to the LinkedIn Workplace Learning 2023 report, in the list of the 10 skills that companies need most in the area of Information Technology, 4 are behavioural skills, namely management skills, effective communication, critical thinking and leadership.

In addition, it is important to note that a study carried out by LinkedIn Learning in 2022 also showed that 94 per cent of employees say that they stay longer at companies that invest in employee skills development and that effective employee development can increase performance by up to 25 per cent.

Considering the scenario described above, one of BI4ALL’s priorities and strategic objectives is to invest significantly in the development of its people. The BI4ALL Learning Centre plays a crucial role in responding to these changes to ensure that our consultants continue to stand out and maintain a competitive edge in a constantly evolving market.

The BI4ALL Learning Center is a training programme designed to promote continuous learning and professional development for all our employees. Through this programme, BI4ALL demonstrates its commitment to enabling its employees to reach their maximum level of learning and performance, ensuring that they are prepared for the challenges of the market and the growing demands in the area of data analysis. Through the resources provided, our people have the opportunity to improve their skills, expand their knowledge and keep up to date with the latest developments in this area.

To make this possible, our learning centre is composed of a wide variety of initiatives, from learning technical knowledge to developing soft skills and leadership competences, self-learning programmes, opportunities for technical certifications, various in-house knowledge sharing and even English classes.

One of the great advantages of our learning centre is the flexibility of the various programmes available, whether in terms of time, location (at the workplace or remotely), in a formal or informal context and with technical and/or behavioural content. Another great advantage is the possibility of betting internally on our most experienced consultants so that they can provide in-house training to less experienced consultants. This happens in three different initiatives: technical skills training, talent academy and consulting academy.

  • Technical skills training are annual in-house training in the most important and strategic technologies that our employees encounter on a daily basis in order to guarantee operational efficiency, drive innovation and meet the constantly evolving demands of our clients and the market.
  • The Data Academy is our in-house academy aimed at recent graduates who have their first professional experience at BI4ALL and in the first two months of their employment, receive in-house training in various technological areas and are prepared to start their careers as integrated consultants in a very supportive and dynamic environment.
  • The Consulting Academy is our new in-house academy, with in-house trainers, whose aim is to impart good consulting practices, from the individual role of each consultant to the quality and testing phase, in line with the BI4ALL DNA.

On the whole, BI4ALL encourages all employees to invest in their development and the BI4ALL Learning Centre represents that same significant investment in the growth and learning of our employees, as we believe that through education and access to high-quality resources, we empower our employees to excel in their roles and achieve their career goals.

By investing in the growth and training of our employees, we respond to the demands of the market and better prepare ourselves to face the industry’s challenges, in order to maintain BI4ALL as a benchmark in the sector.
