BI4ALL becomes UNA Portugal’s first technological partner

Lisbon, April 4, 2024 –BI4ALL, a leading company in Data, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence services, announces that today it has entered into a partnership with UNA Portugal – United Nations Association –, an Association whose objective is to contribute to the dissemination of the United Nations Charter and its principles. By signing this protocol, BI4ALL becomes part of UNA Portugal’s partner network, the first company to be a partner in the field of technology.

Formally established in June 2022, UNA Portugal is an Association born out of a citizens’ movement whose purpose is to contribute to global awareness. One of the purposes of UNA Portugal is to bring together people and organisations that think collectively and globally, to face the challenges of today’s world, together with similar organisations existing in almost every country, and acting locally through actions and projects on social and Human Rights issues, aligned with the principles of the United Nations and following the suggestions of the 2030 Agenda.

For José Oliveira, CEO of BI4ALL: “The partnership with UNA arises as part of BI4ALL’s alignment with the 2030 Agenda and seeks to mobilise global efforts around the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the 193 United Nations countries. These goals define the global priorities and aspirations for sustainable development and improved quality of life, which is why business support for such associations is essential for a quality future”.

Mário Parra da Silva, Secretary General of the United Nations Association Portugal – UNA Portugal, comments: “The United Nations Association Portugal – UNA Portugal has a broad mission of supporting organisations, initiatives and projects of the United Nations (UN), becoming a forum for  reflection and debate on topics related to its work, involving citizens and national and foreign organisations and mobilising around the UN Objectives, namely the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs.

Companies, especially those at the forefront of technological development, can be irreplaceable partners in this endeavour. That’s why the partnership with BI4ALL is of strategic importance to UNA Portugal and of great interest to both parties.”

Developing the concept of global citizenship and intervening in Portuguese society and beyond, UNA Portugal aims to empower People and Organisations to respond to global challenges and the Planet’s current problems.

“We hope that many other organisations will join this great movement for the effective implementation of the vast and pertinent purposes of the United Nations”,concludes Mário Parra da Silva.
