BI4ALL dedicates December to actions of social solidarity and social impact

Lisbon, 10 December 2024 – In the year in which BI4ALL celebrates 20 years since it was founded, the leading company in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence services has decided to dedicate the month of December to volunteering under the slogan ‘Two decades of taking care of their own, this Christmas we’re going to take care of everyone’, promoting a series of social responsibility initiatives in collaboration with various local associations. The actions are organised around four fundamental pillars: supporting children at risk, combating the social isolation of the elderly, fighting hunger and supporting the animal cause. It should be noted that these initiatives will continue until 2025, thus giving BI4ALL a long-term commitment to sustainability and social responsibility issues.

The month of December began with a visit from the children of the Sol Association, who not only visited the BI4ALL City facilities but also helped decorate the Christmas tree, where they placed stars with their requests to Santa Claus. With its employees, BI4ALL will deliver the presents desired by the children of Associação Sol and Aldeias de Crianças SOS da Guarda this Christmas.

In addition, BI4ALL will be giving 15 Christmas hampers to the Coração Amarelo Association (Lisbon), whose beneficiaries are elderly people, and five to the Casa Association (Porto), whose beneficiaries are homeless people.

The elderly are also at the centre of these initiatives. Ninety elderly people accompanied by the Mais Proximidade Association, which combats loneliness and isolation in Lisbon, will receive Christmas presents. Those who have mobility will also have the opportunity to take a tuk-tuk tour of the city to see the Christmas lights and savour the traditional pastéis de nata (custard tarts).

‘We know that December is a month marked by solidarity. This year, we set up a task force to respond to various social responsibility requests. These initiatives are part of the company’s wider strategy, as we believe that our success is directly linked to the social and environmental impact we generate. Next year, we will have other moments dedicated to social and environmental actions,’ says Inês Xavier, BI4ALL’s Chief Financial and People Officer.

Animals weren’t forgotten, either. BI4ALL employees will dedicate themselves to supporting the Parque dos Bichos Kennel on the first two Saturdays of December, reinforcing their commitment to animal welfare.

To end the month with joy and purpose, on 19 December at 7 pm, the BI4ALL City will host a Stand-Up Comedy Solidarity event with comedians Miguel Sousa, Laura, Diogo Leitão, Vítor Costa and Sérgio Lopes. All proceeds will go to the Independent Living Centre Association, which promotes the autonomy of people with disabilities.

These actions reflect BI4ALL’s commitment to sustainability and are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, reinforcing the company’s vision of building a more prosperous and balanced future for generations to come.
